A dedicated restoration team of three, led by Ray Helmick, spent two years bringing this aircraft back to its former glory. The team included Ray Helmick, Hans J. Underwood, and Doc Rosenbloom. Visitors can see and board the aircraft during the museum's open cockpit days.It was a privilege for this webmaster to be part of the restoration team. Dan Porter, son of Bruce Porter, created the nose art for the aircraft.
