UH-1H 66-16325

Proudly displayed in Daleville, Alabama, this aircraft served with distinction during the Vietnam War. This UH-1H served with the 134th Assault Helicopter Company from July 1967 through August 1969.

While the exact date of its public unveiling remains undocumented, its presence near Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker) stands as a quiet tribute to the thousands of aviators trained in the region and the legacy of the 134th Assault Helicopter Company.

Her story was brought to light thanks to Ray Grodecki of Easton Maryland, whose efforts helped reconnect this aircraft in 2009 with its legacy.
