Though I crewed a number of ships, 393 was my ride for the most part. I logged 754 hours on 393 during my tours of duty. She brought us back safe to Tuy Hoa from every mission. Never red X'ed, always mission ready. She was flown practically daily. She resided in revetment ONE while at Tuy Hoa. Unfortunately records indicate she was transferred to the South Vietnamese Air Force and remained in Vietnam after our unit stood down. Great aircraft.
