134th Assault Helicopter Company
The Men of Hell's Half Acre:
Recounting Their Own History

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to this site, especially the late Stanley R. Gause, whose countless hours of research and dedication helped preserve the history of our unit. The sentiments expressed in the History Introduction, words that continue to reflect the spirit of our shared experiences, were originally voiced by members of the 281st Assault Helicopter Company.
